A Way Of Being Free
(And Why Cain Is Able)
01 April 2007
With a new band, and a new attitude, York City's Miles Cain is finally on his way to the rock'n'roll Premiership.

Cain's new album - A Way Of Being Free - is officially released later this month, and right from the word go, it signals its intent to take you somewhere special.

Stay With Me 'Till Summer is an upbeat rock'n'rollercoaster of an opening number. You can almost feel the quality of the musicianship, and the production just rocks. It is intelligent, uplifting stuff - Cain's voice sounds fantastic, and if you haven't heard it on a radio near you, very soon, we'll want to know why!

Overall, however, this is an album for people who buy albums, with so many great songs, we don't know where to start! Lyrically and vocally, it is all distinctively Miles Cain... only better - mixing thoughtful and playful with poetic and powerful.

Musically, Cain's fantastic new band deliver that degree of variety which every classic album needs - from the simple delight of a beautifully played acoustic guitar, to the powerful melancholy of Simon Waterson's big saxophone - Justin Timerlake keep take his sex - these guys are bringing saxy back... and the big times are just around the corner.

Disclaimer: FairgroundTown co-wrote one track on this album, and may benefit financially in the event of a global mega-hit.

The point is we are all connected... through love... through loneliness... through one lamentable lapse in judgment!
